Since the project is covered from the security advisory policy, project moderators will not add as maintainers/co-maintainers (nor project owners) people who cannot opt projects into security advisory coverage.
If this issue were moved to the Drupal.org project ownership queue, it will be moved back in this project queue. - 🇵🇱Poland dmitry.korhov Poland, Warsaw

TL;DR: What do I need to do to receive a co-maintainer role for this project? The module hasn’t been updated in over a year for Drupal 11, which is blocking all projects that depend on it from upgrading. I’ve tried contacting the maintainers via email and contact forms, but received no response.
I’m fine with releasing a version of the module that doesn’t cover security updates.
As I understand it, creating a fork to unblock upgrades is allowed, so I may go that route if necessary.
