When looking at the list of blog teasers in the home page, I see that the body is being trimmed to 600 characters, which doesn't look good if you are sharing a recipe or something like that:
It's better if we make the summary body field mandatory and this will be displayed as an intro text for the user to dig deeper into the blog page contents when clicking on it.
Create a blog node with a long text, it will be trimmed down to 600 characters
Make the summary body field mandatory and make sure it's set in the blog teaser.

I add a MR for this with the config changes and I can see that the field is mandatory and the text is displayed in the blog teasers:
