Problem/Motivation

ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function Drupal\Core\Form\ConfigFormBase::__construct(), 1 passed in /var/www/html/docroot/modules/contrib/comment_notify/src/Form/CommentNotifySettings.php on line 76 and exactly 2 expected in Drupal\Core\Form\ConfigFormBase->__construct() (line 44 of core/lib/Drupal/Core/Form/ConfigFormBase.php).

Thanks for the issue and patch.

What are the conditions that cause this error to happen? Is it on every page load, every page with a comment form, on the settings form?

This module has some automated tests that will run if changes are provided as merge requests instead of patches. Can you provide this as a merge request as well?

In my project, the module settings page (/admin/config/people/comment_notify) could not be accessed.
#2 Patch solved the problem.
