In an effort to improve the quality of posts on Drupal Planet, I would like to propose the following:
We could add a feature, where registered users can flag a blogger ("Hide blogger" ?), and as an individual user, no longer see posts from this blogger on the Planet Drupal page.
If a blogger hits a certain threshold of "Hide blogger" flaggings by us users, the blogger could receive a "your content is low quality" message, and maybe also get relegated to a less prominent display, like only showing the header, and in a smaller font?
Scan the Planet Drupal articles, and see not so great content.
Allow registered users to give feedback via a "Hide blogger" flag. From now on, this individual user no longer see posts from this blogger on the Planet Drupal page.
If a blogger exceeds a threshold of for example 10 "Hide blogger" flaggings, they could:
