I encourage you to start by engaging through the issue queue: propose ideas, help triage existing issues, or contribute code. Once there’s a history of meaningful contributions, we can absolutely revisit the discussion of co-maintainership.

I created this issue because this module looks abandoned and maintainer is not active.

Please create a release with Drupal 11 support and a lot of people will be happy :)
