Integrity constraint violation when Editing an event

Problem/Motivation

I was trying to edit an imported event and for some reason I deleted the user id in the field "Authored by" and when I saved the event I got a WSOD with this error: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1048 Column 'user_id' cannot be null:

Steps to reproduce

Edit an imported event and remove the user information in the "Authored By" field

Proposed resolution

Make the field to be mandatory

Since it's a small change, I'll merge and mark it as "Fixed", if anyone is still having issues editing the Event in the form, please let me know and I'll re-open the task.
