How can I override the menu options under "Create"?

Problem/Motivation

My client would like to hide some content types, but still allow the use of the CTs so I cannot update permissions. How can I tweak/alter the method getNavigationCreateMenuItems?

If the GinNavigation was a service, I think I could use "service decoration" for it. But I'm not sure how to do it, since it's not.

Appreciate any insights on how to do this.

    If you relate to our Navigation test integration in Gin – unfortunately you can't. We'll soon retire this implementation in favor of the now included navigation module into Core. We included this in Gin to test things until they land in Core – which is now included as an experimental module. Enabling Core's navigation module is highly recommended in your case. With this you'll be able to change the navigation using Layout builder 🎉
