Thank you for the offer! I do not have permissions to assign maintainers. We may need to see if seanr can do it - otherwise I believe @avpaderno may be able to assist in a couple of weeks, if no action has been taken.

Since multiple offers have been open, without giving any detail on what the plan is, and no follow-up action has been done, I am going to close this issue.
This project is also covered by the security advisory policy; it means we should be careful in adding co-maintainers who cannot opt projects into security advisory coverage.
