It seems to reference "https://www.drupical.com/f/none.jpg" for all events actually, which means not even the placeholder is working 🙃

yes. we did a complete new frontend relaunch.
Backend will be next :P
there we have to still fix some things.

Still seems to be an issue for quite some events, although some are showing images now.
