Support for EN 16931 (electronic invoice)

Problem/Motivation

The EU requires for invoices an XML based standardized format (preferably embedded in a pdf).
The EU regulation is EN 16931 and becoming a legal requirement for example in Germany with the beginning of 2025. Other countries have similar national legal requirements to meet the requirements of the EU regulation.

Proposed resolution

Provide support for the xml standard and a PDF which implements the XML as well.
