Proposal for group: Event Platform

1. Description.

The Event Platform → initiative has been seeing participation from North America, Europe, and Asia. We need a place to collaborate and plan meetings.

2. Search for overlapping groups.

A search on groups.drupal.org did not uncover any existing groups, and the name space (URL alias) does not currently exist.

3. Body.

mandclu is the current, main organizer. Previous participants include kclarkson and mherchel. froboy and johnpicozzi, both of the Event Organizers Working Group, have attended, among a variety of others.
