Better Exposed Filters 'links'-element remove doesn't work as expected

Does it work fine without using BEF? Is the problem BEF related?

I had the same issue today, please find the patch attached

BEF = Better exposed filters (drupal/better_exposed_filters)
Links type = Links widget (outputs exposed filter values as HTML links)

@dejan0 @randalv, could you have a look at the above MR 34 and see if it fixes our BEF links compatibility problem? Thanks.
