Url Alias not created on creation of minisite

Problem/Motivation

The first creation of a minisite node, the url alias is not being created

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a minisite
2. Upload a valid zip archive
3. Check the 'Use URL alias' checkbox
4. Save node
5. Go to the alias for the site the /parent-alias//index.html
6. Get page not found
7. Go to Edit form for minisite, resave
8. Go to the alias for the site the /parent-alias//index.html
9. This time the minisite loads
