Disable preview on node and comment types by default

Created on 19 November 2024, 5 months ago

Problem/Motivation

As a first step toward 📌 Remove comment and node preview Active , we could update the default preview setting for node and comment types from 'Optional' to 'Disabled'.

This is something I *always* change on client projects, and would prefer to make it disabled for the Drupal CMS content types as well. But we also want to avoid changing things in our recipes that will then be different when the user does it. So I think we would only change it for our recipes if it's disabled by default in core.

Proposed resolution

Update the default to be 'Disabled' rather than 'Optional'.
