I was confused by this at first too. But go to the Formatted text option. Then on the next screen you will find the Markup option.

Can this somehow be documented? I just spent 15 minutes before I found this issue explaining how it works now (mind you, I have been using this module for several years now).

+1 for the request to make this better-documented, please - the current approach - requiring you to select "Formatted text" requires you to know that the Markup field type is hidden behind this option.
