I recommend generating subtheme of ui_suite_daisyui with drush command as described in the documentation : https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/theming-drupal/creating-sub-themes#s... →

Then :

• activate the subtheme.
• redefine your regions inside the info.yml of the subtheme.

To add new components you should put them in components folder of your subtheme as it's done in the parent theme.
