Problem/Motivation

There are significant feature differences between the dev version and the stable version.
Nice features and heavy improvements in the dev version, such as charts, geo-local data, current Path-Route filter in contextual filter .
Most of the issues have been resolved - merged into the dev version, I tested most of them and did not encounter any problem. There may be some that I missed.
The current Path or Route contextual filter feature is an important and necessary feature that is currently only available in the dev version.It should be at least in the stable version (argument default/path.php).( #3459758 ✨ Views Contextual filter: current path and route Active )
Main visitors view is still in dev version. Some views that were in the stable version were removed in the dev version. It would be good if they remained in the stable version as an option.
Normally, dev is not considered for a production site, but when starting a new project, the dev version winks. But which one should be installed? Dev or stable...
Or should a new version be created?
It would be better to have a roadmap for when these will be rolled into the stable/new version.
