As no repo has been initialised for this project yet, and if you're not planning on working on it soon, then it may be easier if you just made me a maintainer. Thanks!

Jumping in here to say that I am also interested in joining as a maintainer. Incidentally, I created my own module → recently and then rattusrattus reached out to say they were working on something similar over here. In an effort to prevent duplicated work, it seems like it makes sense to have one common namespace to work in.
