Fix Project Browser returns 0 results in Trial Experience

This is because the trial experience disables outgoing HTTP requests entirely - it's not a bug. It's a workaround for a limitation of the WebAssembly runtime.

I'm going to postpone this, though, because some changes to the trial are on the way which should make Project Browser work properly, at least for browsing.

No longer relevant since we are not supporting the WASM demo.
