I'm not a Flag maintainer, but I can vouch for @ivnish! He has been a great help on the Poll module. As @berdir once explained, the Flag and Poll module have a lot in common in the background. So I think both modules could benefit from this.

Another project where I don't have full access as it turns out. Try to reach out to @joachim I guess.
Once you have access, I'm asking that you focus on fixes and things that get us closer to finally having a stable release. We should introduce major changes at this point. I know people are interested in the big issues around schema/config entities, but IMHO those are topics for a 2.x branch.
