Primary tabs do not appear if Standalone media URL is not enabled

Created on 15 October 2024, 2 months ago

Problem/Motivation

If "Standalone media URL" is not enabled under Media Settings, the primary tabs disappear on the media edit form.

When "Standalone media URL" is enabled the tabs display correctly.

Steps to reproduce

Go to /admin/config/media/media-settings and turn off Standalone media URL.
Go to any media edit page. The primary tabs do not display.

  • Hi,
I am not able to reproduce the issue in the Drupal 10.4.0-dev Version.

    Steps Followed:
    1. Disabled the standalone in the media settings /admin/config/media/media-settings
    2. Editing the any media item. Primary options tabs are visible for the user.
    3. Enabled the standalone in the media settings
    4. Able to see the primary tabs in the options.

As per the Implementation of the "Standalone media setting" working as per the settings. Media URL view option is visible when the settings is enabled. If that setting is disabled the except view option will display the other primary tabs options.

    Before Enable the Standalone:

    After Enable the Standalone:

Let me know incase of anything I missed in this steps.
