This seems to be a follow on from #3291943: When rendering facets on non search page, it throws error instead of 404 on 404 pages → - although it may also be related to 🐛 ResourceNotFoundException with ajax facets when site running in subfolder Needs review
We initially thought our problem related to better_exposed_filters - see 🐛 Error when added to 404 pages Postponed: needs info
1. add a facets block that appears on every page
2. visit a 404 page
