Update summary on project page for compatibility with Project Browser

Created on 11 September 2024, 5 months ago

Problem/Motivation

A short, non-technical description has been created by the community for your module for compatibility with Project Browser. The short description will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.
Requirements: The short description (200 characters or less) should answer the question - "what does this module do in a non-technical way". Do not use the module name in the short description.

Proposed resolution

Provides an easy way for content editors to create consistently structured data instead of entering unstructured data in one big WYSIWYG field. Basic tools allow site builders to create components, such as cards, images, or whatever you imagine.

Remaining tasks

MAINTAINERS: Please consider adding the proposed short description as the Summary for the Description field on your project page. Please click โ€œEdit summaryโ€ near your description field to add the short description.

Not entirely sold on this. Aren't easy and simple words that should be avoided in documentation?

The first sentence seems to be just as much about what it isn't and doesn't seem to explain too much IMHO. What exactly are "basic tools"? And I think starting with the components and site builders before editors makes more sense.

    What about

Allows site builders to create components, such as cards, images and more. Content editors can compose flexible but structured content pages from these building blocks.
