How to segment characters in Chinese words so can use Glossify

Created on 5 September 2024, 9 months ago

Hello,

English:
The Glossify module provides filters that scan and parse content and adhance terms in the text with tooltips and optionally add links to their pages. Currently it consists of 2 filters.

Chinese:
Glossify模块提供过滤器,通过工具提示扫描解析文本中的内容和附加术语,并可选择向其页面添加链接。目前,它由两个 过滤器 组成。

The above is the opening paragraph of Glossify's introduction text, which I have translated into Chinese. In Chinese fonts, there are no special separators or spaces, and they connect each character into a sentence.

If I create six terms, as follows, corresponding words in English and Chinese, in English, it is easy to add its link to the word in the previous paragraph. However, in Chinese, it cannot find the corresponding word unless I specifically add a space before and after the word, such as the 8th word in the picture.

Terms

filters = 过滤器
scan = 扫描
parse = 解析

In the picture, the Chinese terms 5, 6, and 7 have not been linked in the content words, but the 8th words has been correctly linked because a special space was added to it.
