Eventually there will be a 3.x release of this module. (No release date is set or promised.)
This meta issue tracks the issues that will be part of the 3.0 release. Any issue not listed here can be fixed and committed at any time; the issues listed here will have to be part of 3.x since they break backwards compatibility.
Everyone is welcome to contribute. Suggestions for additional features/fixes are welcome in the comments.
