I've tried to reproduce the issue but am unable to reproduce it.
Please share detailed steps to reproduce the issue

steps i followed
1. pull 3468825-deprecated-function-strpos branch in my local.
2. change it main branch which is 2.x
3. enabled module
4. check Recent log messages.

@Chandansha unfortunately I'm not sure the error will occur with every site, it was in the dblog with ours though.

@Chandansha This is occurring in our logs too. For us it seems to specifically be for the route `?path=/update.php` - hope that helps investigate.
