Problem/Motivation

If I remember right, there were issues altering the title in combination with layout builder. See 🌱 General information for future releases & layout_builder Postponed at node_title_ps!

Please check if this works as expected, if core layout_builder is used for composing the full node display for example.

If this doesn't work, please create an issue here and link it on the module page, so people are aware of that.

    No automated tests needed for now for this. That would be too complex. Just try it manually.

    Yep, works great with Layout Builder! Just used the metatag for all default metatag types and everything works great!

    I couldn't create a new metatag type route on a layout builder uri specifically, since metatags should not be present there, so that edge case it not possible.
