Not able to render Acquia Dam image with image style

Problem/Motivation

We have a content type where the DAM Image media type and core Drupal image media type are referenced via the Media Reference field. We have created a view to render this media field. Whenever in view image media field settings we choose Formatter as "Thumbnail" and then select any image style the image is not rendered and a genric icon has been displayed.
When we choose the formatter as "Rendered Entity" the image gets displayed without the image style as there is no option to select any image style with rendered entity in view settings.
