I was just testing Ajax recently on 7.0.x the current development branch and it was working so may need more detail

I will say, that after selecting the filter - the page flashes and the View resets as if no filter was selected. So perhaps it's working, but then just being automatically reset.

I just tested again and ajax is working for me. Can you provide additional details.

2 months ago 10:16am 13 November 2024 Hello @smustgrave,
I am working on Drupal 10.3.7, and indeed, I was using better-exposed-filter version 6.0.6, and since then, I've been getting this AJAX error:
Drupal.AjaxError {message: '\nAn AJAX HTTP error occurred.\nHTTP Result Code: 40β¦onseText: {"message":"Session has not been set."}', name: 'AjaxError', stack: 'Error\n at http://drupal-10.docker.localhost:800β¦.localhost:8000/core/misc/ajax.js?v=10.3.7:1922:3'}.I have switched to version 7.0.2, but this error persists. Do you need additional details or tests to help you resolve the issue?
Thank you.- Status changed to Needs work

If you are using Better Filter Exposed version 7.0 along with the drupal/select2 module, the issue might be related to an outdated version of the select2 module. I updated the module, and it resolved the AjaxError problem I was experiencing.
I don't use select2, but, i have updated better_exposed_filters with v7 and the error has been corrected. Thanks for your help. Module URL: https://www.drupal.org/project/better_exposed_filters β
