Fields in answers not available

Problem/Motivation

I have added some fields in long answers which should ask for further details when answering. The long question will remain just a long text, the answer should be detailed via the individual fields.

Steps to reproduce

Create fields in long answer - e.g. list
Create question
Create quiz
Copy question from bank
Start quiz

Proposed resolution

If I have created fields in answers of the same type as the questions, I assume that these fields will also be available in the answers. However, in my case this is not the case. I only ever see one text field in the answers.

Am I getting it wrong that the type of answer is also automatically assigned to the type of question? If not, then I must be doing something wrong.

If not, how do I implement this?
