FYI: No features are "locked" for people that do not have the "confirmed" role. They are just subject to automatic spam filtering oversight.

Actually, only people with a confirmed account can edit documentation pages and documentation guides or create organization nodes.

I am closing this issue, since the OP does not explain which features are "locked" nor the account has been used to create further posts.
