Can we start doing this?
We need a volunteer maybe?

Following discussions with Carlos β and Mike β about improving developer onboarding in the Drupal community, I've created a document to capture the experiences of new Drupal developers entering our ecosystem.
This aims to understand the IXP Fellowship by investigating:
- Successful pathways into Drupal development
- Effective learning methods for Drupal-specific skills
- Critical challenges faced by new developers
- Most impactful mentorship approaches
- Strategies for transitioning from learning to active contribution
You can review the full document here: IXP Feedback Document
Core research goals:
- Understand the learning journey of new Drupal developers
- Identify and address barriers in the Drupal contribution process
- Map skill development trajectories for junior developers
- Develop more effective community support mechanisms
Feel free to request edit access or I can update the issue summary.

@flux423, that's a pretty complete document, and well done. However, it seems to go beyond the scope of what I had in mind for this issue. I envisioned a short-term effort to get feedback from fairly new Drupal developers with recent career development experience. Their experience is much different than what we saw in the earlier days of Drupal. (pre D8+).
I envisioned a survey and possibly interviews with some of these folks to understand what they feel was lacking in their experience.
This kind of feedback could be beneficial as this program is developed.

Thank you @bsnodgrass for the feedback and clarification. You make an good point about focusing on a survey at first - their experience is quite different from the pre-D8 era.
Would you like me to draft some survey questions to help understand their journey?
