Offering to maintain IP address fields

There're couple issues I would like to be reviewed, but I struggle to get that done:

I use that module on several projects and would like to extend its functionality as well as make sure it has test coverage, but I haven't got any help from all maintainers when contacted through contact form for 3 times since February.
