I wanted to give it a try but after installing it gives the following errors.

Since the User Points module is not updated ( https://www.drupal.org/project/userpoints → ), the gamify module comes with a clone inside.
My recommendation is to remove drupal/userpoints from composer.json and use the integrated clone.
