Performance drop with a CT that has many fields

Problem/Motivation

With a content type that has around 200 fields of which 6 are controlled by this module, performance is horrible

Proposed resolution

I think I understand that it depends on the dependent_fields_field_widget_single_element_form_alter hook being called hundreds of times
