Deprecated function: mb_strtolower(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated

I am receiving this message randomly on some pages. Unfortunately I'm not able to make any sense of why this is appearing or find any common thread to where and when.

Drupal 10.2.4

I know this isn't very helpful without identifying a cause, seems it is just a deprecation warning coming from D10 and could easily be resolved but first checking if $string is not null before acting on it. I have not seen any other issues other than the warning message.

Deprecated function: mb_strtolower(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in Drupal\menu_item_extras\Utility\Utility::sanitizeMachineName() (line 45 of modules/contrib/menu_item_extras/src/Utility/Utility.php).
