Help module - enable or disable plugins

Problem/Motivation

I would like to use the help-module to display help for my end-users on pages. They use the admin pages for some settings and creation of nodes. But only for some real administrative tasks. I would also like to give them access to the /admin/help pages, but I would like to show only items of our own help-plugin and hide all the other plugins on the admin/help page, because they don't need most of them.

As far as I can see now, this is not achievable with the current help module, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Steps to reproduce

On admin/help all help-topics that are selected to be hidden are not shown.

Proposed resolution

I don't know the best solution:

• Add an admin-form for the help-module where you can select plugins you don't want to show on the admin/help page.
• Add a view-permission per plugin
• ... ?

The second option has the advantage that the topics will not show up on the search either, so that is a cleaner solution
