Trying to get filter iframe to work

Problem/Motivation

Hi all,

I'm trying to use the "COOKiES Filter (Beta)" to remove an iframe (which is inserted for an embedded Google Doc view).
I am adding a new filter to filter any iframe and, as far as I understand, this should be everything.
I can see the new category on the cookie selection, but the iframe is always shown.
I've tried to add the css, keep it empty, change the replacement placeholder, but I always see the same behavior.
I even tried to block 'img' and I still see the images on the page.

Do you have any debug capability which could help me understand if the script is doing anything or if my settings are wrong?
I know this is a beta functionality, but by reading the status on your page, I was expecting something to happen.

Thanks a lot
Rgds

@juan1975 did you perhaps forget to select the appropriate text filter you configured?

Honestly, I have no clue why it doesn't work for you. I guess you'll need to debug it deeper on your side. Please let us know, if it's a bug in the module, but I don't think so, sorry.

  • Hi, thanks for your answer.
I was asking if there is a way to debug, like a 'verbose' mode, because I could only see that the expected behavior was not there, but I could not see or pinpoint to any fails.
At the end I used the module 'pdf' instead of 'google docs', so I'm not using external providers at all and I don't need to mask anything.

Thanks @juan1975 if you or anyone else is able to reproduce this, please reopen.

I have the same problem, I tested with the version 1.2.9 and the DEV version.
But it's impossible to make the iframe disappear?

    @juan1975 perhaps same for you?

Would be great if someone could perhaps add a README.md for the submodule with the required steps as an improvement from this issue?
    Then I'd re-activate this.
