Maybe you missed https://www.drupal.org/support β†’ for how to properly report content issues. The Drupal Core queue is for Drupal, the software. There are other places to report issues with drupal.org. I've moved this to what I think is the correct place.

I am sure you will have to report more information as I do not fully understand what you are reporting here.

  • My problem is that when I go to the core issues queue β†’ ,

I can't find my post from two days ago πŸ’¬ Make headers totally modular, theme-agnostic Closed: outdated there.

It's as if someone has made my post hidden, although it appears to me open and active, so why can't I find this post in the issue queue (either in open issues or closed issues)?

  • πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈUnited States cilefen

I see it right there on the new issues list.

  • That's surprising to me because I don't find it at all in the list.

    Please check attached image.

The attached image only show the most recent posts.

The core issue queue is very active and your post has been pushed down to page 3 - but it is there. As time goes by, it will be pushed further down.

The issues list there is by default sorted by the most recently updated. You may sort it in other ways. There is no critical bug here, in fact, no bug at all.

  • Well I didn't imagine that it would fall down to page 4 so fast... It is so fast that not many people saw it. I feel a bit of a sour feeling that probably not many people saw it and only one person followed it. Maybe there is a better place to publish this idea?

Yes. The Drupal core issue is not a great place for support. I try to tell people that whenever they open support requests there. Many go unanswered.

#support in Slack is highly active.

https://drupal.stackexchange.com/ also is active but you must abide by certain rules or your question will be closed.

  • But I don't think I ask for support here, I want to pass on an idea, I wish people who make descisions (such as those who decided using Composer, Twig, YAML and Layout builder for Drupal 8) could read it. I write it from my personal experience of 13 years plus with Drupal. I believe that this voice is important to be heard for the future of Drupal.

I have no idea what Slack is and I will check about it soon enough but I don't think this fits in any way to Drupal Answers because again, this is just an idea. I would have made a 30 minute lecture about it in a podcast or conference or a Drupalcon or any event coming soon where the coummunity will let me speak. Can someone let me speak?

  • πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈUnited States cilefen

The Drupal Community is large and I’ve observed that the people who get attention give more than they take. They answer questions. They support the Drupal Association β†’ . They contribute β†’ β€”there are many ways. They attend events β†’ . They have positive interactions in issues β†’ .

    I hope this helps.

You set the issue's category to "Support request" and also wrote:

I am not a PHP programmer or a Twig themer so I don't know how to apply theme-agnostic desktop-display horizontal-menu styling to Drupal theme-agnostic vertical menus but please share your way of doing that or your alternative approach to that.

In my eyes, that certainly looks like a support request, and as already noted: The Drupal core issue is not a great place for support. To get this type of support, the theme Forum is probably a better place.

However, as a PHP programmer and Twig themer, I have absolutely no idea how to apply theme-agnostic desktop-display horizontal-menu styling to Drupal theme-agnostic vertical menus. I suspect that not very many people, if any, shall be able to help you with this one.

  • I have closed the original issue and created a new issue which I will try to distribute to community members better this time.
