Can you add steps on how we can reproduce this issue?
Also you should definitely switch to Stripe Payment Element plugin and disable the Stripe Card Element.
If the recurring payment was created using the Stripe Card Element, you should disable the payment gateway (so the recurring payment will continue to use this plugin), but if not, you can remove it. All new payments must go through the Stripe Payment Element.
