i am in a complete mess i cant update to drupal 10 ebcause of theme

apparently i have the sister version of adaptive theme, because Burnz was missing for years and another guy upgraded it for drupal 8 and now I have to switch back to original theme because the adaptive theme 2.0 is not compatible with drupal 10 and all my sites use adaptive theme 2.0 ....

is there a reason why Mr Bloomfield did not update version 2 so it would be updatable and now the original theme has more updates than the version 2.0

how to switch back to original theme?
