I have upgraded from Drupal 9.5.11 to 10.1.7, and I noticed custom favicon of the website disappeared on my browser's tab.
Then I noticed checkboxes of "Appearance settings" became unchecked after upgrade, so I checked some checkboxes and press save button, but the settings were unable to be saved.
Could you take a look at this?
1. Upgrade from Drupal 9.5.x to Drupal 10.1.7.
2. Go to /admin/appearance/settings, check the following checkboxes and press Save configuration button.
- User pictures in posts
- User pictures in comments
- User verification status in comments
- Shortcut icon
- Use the favicon supplied by the theme
3. "The configuration options have been saved. " message appears around the top of the page, but the checkboxes remain unchecked.
The checkboxes are checked after pressing Save configuration button.

I have reverted the patch and the issue is not reproduced. Please close this issue.
(I patched 3035288-34.patch because "The website encountered an unexpected error." occurs when accessing /admin/appearance with Drupal 10.1.6.)
