Add setting to expand menu items on hover

I think Maintainers will decide whether will they provide this feature in the theme setting or not. But if you want a quick solution from overwriting then I can help you.

Thanks for the offer @ravi kant, but as you state, it's probably best if the maintainers agree to add this feature, or not.

Since I created this issue, https://www.drupal.org/project/disclosure_menu/ → is getting very close to being an alternative menu solution, where it's solved by having two menus - one for desktop, and one for mobile -- with different settings.

This would still be a great feature, and I hope the maintainers will consider it.

sorry, but this theme only implements default Bootstrap5 behaviour to reduce any technical debt and keep it minimal for developers to customise.

If Bootstrap dev team decides to implement it - we'll bring it it.

@ravi kant if you'd like you can create a new module (bootstrap5 addons or something) where you can add requested features?

Thanks for the feedback @jannakha, I totally understand -- you maintainers need to limit the number of features, to keep maintenance burden reasonable. I have updated the Issue Summary, and added a workaround. Thanks for maintaining Bootstrap5 in Drupal, it's a wonderful theme!
