Composer not updating files

Same here. No matter what I do it does not update from 2.33 to 2.36. Drupal GUI and composer both do not work. Also I checked the commerce info file and it has the correct version 2.36 there. But Drupal still shows 2.36 version.

Could be due to your PHP version... From Commerce 2.34, PHP8 is required, could you double check that?

solved, thanks, my site php in 8.0, but my cpanel account php in 7.3, this was te problem, I use this command to update then solved the problem : /usr/local/bin/ea-php82 /opt/cpanel/composer/bin/composer update
