The feed passes validation, but there is just an article that would be added to Planet Drupal. The others are old enough that they will not be added to Planet Drupal.

Great! Thank you. I actually have 7, yes 7, Drupal specific articles coming up. I am finishing up a blog series about responsive images in Drupal (a complete guide). Thanks for your prompt response.

Hello @apaderno, does you comment mean my blog has been added to Planet Drupal? I am expecting to publish a few blog posts this week. Thanks.

does you comment mean my blog has been added to Planet Drupal?

In that case, the issue's status were changed to Fixed. Needs work means there is some work to be done, before the feed is added.

Hello @apaderno, Is the work that is needed to be done by me or someone else? I'm not clear on whether there is something on my end that needs to be done or not. Thanks.

If I were to make a guess, it could be the Gatsby and other non-Drupal posts from 2018, which break the first rule:

    1. You must have an RSS feed that contains only content appropriate for Planet Drupal. [...]

Planet Drupal > Requesting to add a feed

As soon as they are removed from mariohernandez.io/feed.xml, you should request a review.

And by the way, interesting blog posts, thanks for writing them @mariohernandez!

The article Building an automated DDEV-based Drupal environment (2020) looks especially interesting to me. It could be a great candidate for an updated Drupal 10 / DDEV 1.22.4 version, either by releasing an entirely new article, or updating the article itself?

I was waiting for more articles to be added on the feed. (There should be at least two articles that are not older than three months and three weeks.) That is why the status has been set to Needs work.
If the status is not changed to Needs review, reviewers cannot know the articles have been added.

Now the status is Needs work for what reported by ressa.

Never mind: Articles posted on 2018 will not appear on Planet Drupal. Articles that are older than three months and three weeks are ignored or discarded.

I added the feed to Planet Drupal ( https://www.drupal.org/aggregator/sources/2054 ). Eight articles has been added.

Thanks @apaderno -- and actually, there may have been only one recent article, when you reviewed.

Anyway, it's very nice to see another blog with great content now included on Planet Drupal.

Thank you very much, @apaderno and @ressa. Not sure if you've noticed but two weeks ago I published 7 new articles all related to Drupal. I appreciate your assistance with my request.
p.s. Working on my next blog post which I am planning to publish sometime next month.

Thanks for an epic series about responsive images in Drupal @mariohernandez. I had it bookmarked to read, and just read it. I am currently looking at creating some image styles for a project, and your tips about naming are especially useful for me right now. (I am also a fan of clean machine names!)

I am looking forward to your next posts, and still keep my fingers crossed that the Building an automated DDEV-based Drupal environment might one day be released in a fresh version, since many things have changed since 2020 :-)

  • 🇺🇸United States mariohernandez Los Angeles

I appreciate your review, @ressa and I am happy you found the content useful. Maybe an update to the DDEV post would be more useful now that you mention it. Good luck with your responsive images and if there is anything I can do to help feel free to ping me in Drupal slack.

Thanks for the offer @mariohernandez, I'll remember that if I need assistance with responsive images at some point. Have a nice day.

Great post about View modes, it helped me understand how all the pieces fit together, thanks! I noted a few details.

    1. I tried this in a fresh Drupal 10 install, and the Media modules need to be installed for this to work. Perhaps add this right before "Configure view modes for the Image media type" header?

      Install required modules

Install "Media" and "Media Library" modules under the Extend page (/admin/modules).

    2. Under "Configure view modes for the Image media type", the #3 step ("Now, let's tie 1 & 2 together") wasn't necessary, they were already enabled ... but it's great to see for educational purposes, so perhaps the text could say "confirm they are enabled" instead?
    3. Allow overriding: Under Text formats and editors > Full HTML (/admin/config/content/formats/manage/full_html) I needed to check a checkbox, maybe add this, right before "5. Scroll to the Enabled filters section ..."?

      5. Scroll to the CKEditor 5 plugin settings section and enable the Allow the user to override the default view mode.

@mariohernandez: Maybe you already are aware of this, but Drupal Planet is receiving the old posts ... see also #3402661-16: Clean up Drupal Planet for old posts .
