I was using the 1.x-version of the module with patch from https://www.drupal.org/project/openid_connect_windows_aad/issues/3106306 → . Now when I updated to 2.x-version, I receive error "'key' entity with ID 'openid_connect_windows_aad_key' already exists." when trying to do the database updates.
Install first the 1.x-version of the module, patch it and create a key. Update to 2.x-version and try to run the database updates.
Add check to the update hook to see if the key already exists.
