Error Call to a member function value() on null on responsive images

Problem/Motivation

Thanks for adding the responsive images. I ran into an issue where the responsive images works when using the "Responsive image" Breakpoint Group but when you use a different group I believe with many breakpoints like "Olivero" then it breaks and a PHP error is captured.

Error: Call to a member function value() on null in media_contextual_crop_preprocess_responsive_image() (line 143 of /code/web/modules/contrib/media_contextual_crop/media_contextual_crop.module).

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a responsive image style that has multiple breakpoints or use Olivero
  • Add images to a single breakpoint and save
  • Set the breakpoint on the media display
