Allow asking Board Election 2023 Candidates questions by enabling comments

Problem/Motivation

In earlier elections, we could ask the candidates questions. See for example 2020 and 2021:

For some reason, not in 2022:

It would be great if comments could get enabled for 2023 election:

100% agreed, I think is a really valuable resource and I was looking for the form myself a couple of days ago.

Thank you for your question! We opted out of enabling comments last year and this year in order to streamline the pathways of information for voters and candidates. We did this by hosting the two Community Forums where community members can attend and send in questions to candidates for them to answer directly. That said, we have reenabled comments on each candidates blog post at your request to provide additional avenues of engagement, with the context that candidates may not necessarily respond there. We do encourage you to attend the forums and watch the recordings back when they are posted!

The results are in, and the participation is in the lower range, at only ~17%...

477 voters cast their ballots out of a pool of 2,873 eligible voters.

I hope comments will be open next year from the very start, so that the community members can ask the candidates questions. I think this could spur more involvement in the democratic process.
