5️⃣ Thanks to @damienmckenna, the affected versions for security advisories have been back-filled and we can review & plan enabling SA metadata in packages.drupal.org

6️⃣ https://github.com/php-tuf/composer-stager could use review. 2.0.0-beta2 is basically a complete implementation as far as we know. Only thing blocking an RC is having its API surface reviewed, and only thing blocking a stable is having its internal implementation reviewed. /cc @dts, @catch, @longwave (edited) 

7️⃣ :tada:For web server dependent unattended updates run the entire life cycle in a separate process that will not be affected by hosting time limits Was committedThis allows Cron updates to be compatible with Automated Cron(standard profile) and hopefully not be limited by some hosting shorter web timeout
