Hi @ckrina, I've tried to replicate this issue on my local but for me it's working fine. Can you please mention which theme and which drupal version are you using?
Attaching screen recording for the same. Here I used Drupal version - 9.5.x

I missed to RTBC this, so @claireristow feel free to merge this.

@Moni_10 it was happening when the table header was sticky in the latest version, but not anymore with @claireristow's changes.

Hey @Moni_10 I could replicate the issue when the thead became fixed to the top of the screen on scroll. In your screen recording, you don't have many items in that table so the table header may never become fixed but when it does, that z-index issue pops up.

I am going to merge now, since @ckrina has confirmed the fix :)
